Background

My calling has always been to teach.  My passion has always been in the field of Spirituality.  Therefore, although I have a Masters Degree in Education Management from De La Salle University as a basis for my educational career, I set out to update my foundations in Spirituality and Theology and to hone my skills in these areas by completing a Master Degree in Theology at USF, San Francisco in 1995 and a Ph.D. in Philosophy majoring in Christian Spirituality at Graduate Theological Union/UC Berkeley in 2005.

I began my career by teaching at Assumption College for fourteen years.  From there I went on to become a human resource professional with heavy emphasis on training, communication and personal development.  While working as a Marketing Manager or as a Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development I continued to give lectures and retreats in the areas of Theology, Spirituality and Communication in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, San Francisco, Canada, New York, Philadelphia, and Southern California.

It is my deep desire now to work in the academic world to make some contribution through research and education in the arena of Christian Spirituality, Theology, Curriculum Development, Human Resource Training and Organizational Development.
