Background

Retired in January of 2006 in order to concentrate on matters of greater importance than a career.  In the last ten years, concentrated on the apostolate which includes pastoring an office prayer community in Makati City and its chapter in Dasmarinas, Cavite.  As a community elder, was involved in developing and conducting leadership training for the community.  Also participated in Jesus the Divine Healer Parish pastoral council as Education Ministry Head.  Was also trained in pastoral counseling and family ministries at the Center for Family Ministries (CEFAM) and is now a counselor at the said institution.  Also completed her masteral degree in Pastoral Ministry: Family Ministry and Counseling at the Ateneo de Manila University.

After retirement, engaged as an HR organizational development consultant and leadership development trainor with an educational institution and some sales and distribution companies. She is also a certified 7-Habits facilitator for a multinational corporation.

Prior to retirement, spent 29 years with IBM, held a variety of positions mostly in two major areas: Human Resources and IT Services.  In 2005, was the Delivery Project Executive responsible for the delivery of human resources employee services for the whole IBM Asia Pacific Region under the Business Transformation Outsourcing line of business.  The project includes transitioning of employee services to a centralized employee service center from the different home countries. 
 
From 2000 to 2004, was assigned to region positions in Asean/SA to lead HR initiatives for IBM Global Services (IGS) first and then for IBM Business Consulting Services (IBM BCS)  for  the ASEAN region.  Was responsible in developing and implementing human resource strategies and programs that will ensure that IGS capability to deliver the services that meet customer requirements and business needs.  In 2003, was responsible for adapting IBM HR programs to enhance the integration of heritage PwCC partners and practitioners to IBM.
  
She has also held senior management positions in different functions, including systems engineering, corporate staff services, human resource management, marketing and customer services.
