Message from the President

When you consider Loyola School of Theology, you consider attending…

• the lead theological center of the Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific with links to other Jesuit centers in the Pacific Rim;
• a graduate school of theology and ministry with more than three hundred students at present and a long tradition of forming Church leaders;
• and a professional school within the Ateneo de Manila University, a Jesuit university ranked among the best in the Philippines.

You will study with lay men and women, diocesan priests and seminarians, and religious from more than 20 congregations—all coming from more than 20 countries. You will take part in theological programs rooted in Christian tradition and attentive to contemporary contextual challenges following the inspiration of Vatican II.

You will work with faculty trained in various international and local institutions and with vast experiences in teaching, research, and ministry. And you will enjoy a theological library of more than 100,000 volumes and journals in different international languages.
